Kalus Cleared

If Petr Kalus does not make the Boston Bruins roster, he does not have to go back to his junior team, he can play in Providence. That is good news because if he can't make the Boston Bruins roster, he still will have to work harder than he did on his junior team in Providence, and get him ready to play with the Boston Bruins in the future.

PreSeason Thoughts
Just some random thoughts...
Has Patrice Bergeron gotten on the score sheet yet in this preseason? I am starting to get worried. Also, it seems that the new first line Bergeron, Boyes, and Kessel, and the second line is Savard, Sturm, and Murray. Hannu Toivonen looks great this preseason.

The Boston Bruins Cut 12 Players
The Boston Bruins roster is now down to 23 players, as they have cut 12 players today. Some players that were cut that were surprises in my opinion were Matt Lashoff, Marins Karsums, and David Kreji. There were some other cuts like Pelletier, Finley, Sigalet, Walter, Versteeg, Redenbach, Allen, Thompson, and Leach.

Take that, Montreal!!!!!!!

Well, well, well, didn't all you Montreal fans think the Bruins would completely blown out by you. Well, guess again, we beat you once again, this time 3-1. Toivonen played great, and all you people who think the Bruins have no goaltending might just be wrong. He made 24 saves last night, in fact, why don't you just look at this picture of him last night making a great save-

Bruins Ready For Preseason Game
Bruins are looking good. My guess is that Brian Finley will be in net. Phil Kessel should be on the first line. Jonathan Sigalet should be on the first unit defence. Sigaket should be the backup, but they mighttry and use the other goalies that they invited to camp, or the Be A Bruin Goalie winner. I don't know if this will acually be the way the Bruins are going to do things with Lewis, but I know that I got some of that right. I don't know why, but I am a Brian Finley fan, so I really just want him to start. Who knows, just tune into wbz 1030 AM at 12:55, the game will start at 1:00
And So it Begins...Part 2
Tune in to wbz 1030 AM, not FM at 12:55 PM, for the pregame show. The game begins at 1:00 PM against the Devils in Lowell. Expect most rookies to play, and don't expect any key players to be playing. I am guessing that Brian Finley will start in net for the game.
Jack Johnson to Boston?
I sure hope not, because thay want a d-man, and a top forward, probably Glen Murry, and Jurcina.
The Bruins Weekly Random News
Marc Savard recently told reporters he had to call a Bruins player 10 times to find his way around Boston, just yesterday, it was announced that he bought a new car with a navigation system!

Bruins Predictions
North East Division Predictions
1. Buffalo
2. Boston
3. Montreal
4. Ottawa
5. Toronto
Why you ask?
Buffalo-Almost the same team with some additions that will help.
Boston-Savard, and Chara, Bergeron, Boyes, Sturm, Axelsson, Kessel, Murray, not bad
Montreal-I like the addition, but if Habs fans think Samsonov is the key, trust me, he is not, he gets injured way to often, if he played a whole season he would score 30+ goals.
Ottawa-I liked the deal they made trading Havlat, and Smolinsky(sp?), but they will have to wait a year or two to have them be good players, so they have good prospects, but that doesn't do much now.
Toronto-this team is not bad, but Raycroft, and Gill doesn't solve much, ask Boston last year.

Bruins Training Camp Report
It' s the day before the rookie training camp even starts, and the Bruins already have 23 players at their informal skates, and most of the Bruins big name players are their, with the exeption of Glen Murray. Zdeno Chara is leading the group, and it looks like he will be the new captain of the Boston Bruins. Now the Bruins have to sign Stuart, Sturm, and Primeau, although they are under contract this year, they will be free agent next year.
More tomorow, as rookie camp starts, don't be suprised if people like Chris Collins make the team, I' m rooting for him!
